Enpower Greentech’s cutting-edge Swift Pouch cells are set to make a significant impact on the global stage through their collaboration with the University of Michigan’s Millennium Solar Car team. Dr. Yang Wang, Enpower Greentech’s R&D Manager, emphasizes their commitment to supporting innovation beyond mere provision of cells, actively contributing to the design of high-performance battery packs crucial for endurance racing.

The University of Michigan’s Millennium Solar Car, equipped with Swift NMC batteries, is gearing up to compete in the challenging Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. This year’s competition poses unique challenges, including reduced solar irradiation during Australia’s winter and stringent battery capacity regulations. Despite these hurdles, the UofM team remains optimistic about their prospects, buoyed by their partnership with Enpower Greentech and their state-of-the-art battery technology.
